Governor Dauda Lawal has called on the people of Zamfara State to embrace unity and peace as they mark Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement on Saturday, the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of Ramadan. He urged them to uphold the values of sacrifice, devotion, and compassion demonstrated during the fasting period.
Governor Lawal stressed the importance of collective efforts in tackling the state’s challenges. He encouraged residents to set aside differences and work together to support the government’s development initiatives.
The governor also commended religious and community leaders for their role in fostering peace and harmony. He urged citizens to pray for divine guidance and lasting prosperity in Zamfara and across Nigeria.
